The Deputy Governor of Oyo State and chieftain of All Progressives Congress(APC), His Excellency, Engr Remi Olaniyan has become the State Coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council for the Grassroot Mobilisation.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima are both presidential and vice-presidential candidates of APC for 2023 general elections.
The National Coordinator of ICC, H.E Ali Silas Agara has approved Olaniyan’s candidature as the state coordinator and Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo as leader of elders committee for the state.
Meanwhile, the strategy committee at its meeting held on September 19, 2022 at No. 6 Albara Street Wuse 2, approved the nominees of the Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council.
They are however to collect their appointment letters at No.2 Panama Street, Off IBB Boulevard Maitama, Abuja on Tuesday November 1st.
According to his staunch supporter, Hon. Lateef Olayiwola, “the Grassroots Mobilization abilities of OLANIYAN discovered again by Tinubu, His Excellency has been made the Oyo State Coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council for the Grassroot Mobilization. He is a round peg in a round hole!”.
Olayiwola said, Olaniyan as a politician of high repute would no doubt work diligently and conscientiously for emergence of Tinubu/Shettima’s presidency come 2023.
He prayed and wished Olaniyan well on new task assigned to him..
