He maintained that, the senator of Oyo Central Senatorial District and APC Gubernatorial Candidate should have seen the project beyond politics and sentiment, stressing he does not need to play politics with what many people are enjoying and appreciating.

The forum added that the projects are no doubt achieving the purpose of establishment, noting that economic activities of the state and state’s Internal Generated Revenue are being boosted for betterment of the dwellers in the state.

He also challenged TKF for playing politics with Iseyin-Moniya road, stressing that the senator should have aligned with others who are praising the Governor , rather condemning the project which has solved the problem of disconnection between Ibadan and OkeOgun zone.

Adesina forum maintained that, flood as a result of heavy downpour did not cause any destruction to the road as claimed by Teslim Folarin, but he only played dirty politics, sentiment and acrimony in order to please his selfish ambition.

On the issue of alleged neglection of police claimed by TKF, the forum debunked and expatiated that Makinde did not neglect Oyo Police in order to please and elevate Southwest Security Network known as “Amotekun”.

He stressed that Makinde knows the importance of police and their legal roles towards the safety of lives and properties in the state, adding that police are bankrolled by the federal government while Amotekun is only security architecture that is limited to only Oyo and other states in the Southwest.

He however hinted that, neglection of education sector and teachers’ lack of motivation justified by Folarin was not true, stressing that Makinde remains a Governor orchestrating good governance across the nooks and crannies of the state.

The Spokesperson maintained that, education has become better in the pacesetter state compared to what was obtainable in the past, stressing that the salary and other entitlements which are due to the teachers and pensioners are being paid as at when due.

He urged Folarin to stop playing politics of sentiment, acrimony and parochial interest which they described not the best way to practise modern democracy.

He however enjoined Governor to maintain statusquo on exhibition of good governance, extension of democratic dividends and further delivery of promises across the nooks and crannies of the state.

Adesina reiterated their commitment to attainment of good governance, better service delivery and Makinde’s reelection come 2023.
