The Elero of IIeroland, in Iwa Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State, HRM, Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka has urged both indigenes at home and in the diaspora participating at this year’s Ilero day coming up on November 12, to see the special union as a rare opportunity to build and maintain synergy aimed at ascertaining development, progress and peaceful coexistence among all and sundry.

The monarch stressed that the next Ilero day coming up on November 12 remains an avenue to chart path towards the growth and development of the ancient town.

He maintained that, it is not going to be a merrymaking alone but a strategic interactive session where efforts would be channeled towards direction of better future for the town and its dwellers.

Adding that, its fruitful outcome would unequivocally send good signals to both local and international investors to establish and make noteworthy investments in Ilero.

Oba Elero urged both indigenes and invitees to grace the slated unique occasion as the maximum security is guaranteed before and after the programme.

He assured that the Law Enforcement Agencies(LEAs) like Nigeria Police Force(NPF) and other paramilitary officers like Southwest Security Network code named ‘Amotekun’, Vigilante Group of Nigeria(VGN), members of Oodua People’s Congress(OPC) and others are in a state of preparedness to protect lives and properties.

Oba Oyedele Saka however commended those who were instrumental to success of the previous Ilero days, adding that those ones were the stepping stones upon which the subsequent ones are built.
