It’s a sad moment as I received the news of your death, Hon.Ajibola Owolabi, Supervisory Councillor on disability, Ibadan North East Local Government, you were a loyal comrade, faithful until you bowed out of this sinful world today, 7/10/2022.
I remembered how we met at Governor Seyi Makinde’s residence during the election campaign before the election in 2019, you were bold, fearless, and determined, nothing was too big to scare you, daring the devil was your middle name.
Although I met you on ground at GSM house, yet you took me as a friend, a loyalist and a leader, you never looked down on anyone, you are generous and always on the side of truth.
We have mapped out strategies for the coming elections, how to mobilize our community was Paramount in your mind, Owolabi, I didn’t know it would be like this, I didn’t have the idea that you would not be around to be part of the campaign train this time.
I was devastated when I heard the news of your demise today, I’m in shock,my hands trembling, my voice shaking, I was sweating like a frozen chicken because no one ever imagined you could bowed out so soon.
You will forever be remembered as one of the warriors who fought a good fight to liberate disability community in Oyo state. You are dead,but be forgotten.
