The Hot Seat led by the chairman, Comrade Ismail Ogundeji had in attendance members of the chapel at his country home in Ago-Are, Atisbo Local Government of the state generated questions which centred on how to ensure effective representation, bills/motions needed for the constituents, plans on what he intends to do differently among others.

While responding, JFO said if he were elected into the green chamber of the National Assembly come 2023, he would give priority to effective representation, useful bills/motions, education, poverty alleviation schemes, employment generation and others.

He said, “While all previous occupants of the office, including the incumbent, have endeavoured in various ways to justify their election and deliver their best, I am confident in my ability to provide our federal constituency with even more commendable representation”.

JFO reiterated that he would initiate and advocate for laws and reforms that seek to improve education, the well-being, safety, and welfare of the constituents

He promised to collaborate with the State Government, my legislative colleagues, the traditional and religious leadership, and pressure groups like media to influence and lobby for the rapid development of communities within his constituency.

JFO reiterated commitment to reduction of poverty through expanded empowerment initiatives and increased access to employment and vocational and entrepreneurial trainings.

He pledged to develop the human capital assets of the communities within the federal constituency through deliberate policies and initiatives that improve the people’s well-being.

He said, “all of these things and more are on my agenda, not because they are politically expedient, but because I am determined to help improve the lot of my people.”

“If I have consistently done what I could for our people and communities for nearly 15 years through my non-profit organisation, the Ogunmola
Foundation, I am optimistic that I will have an even greater impact as an elected representative of the people.”

JFO who was once the chairman, Atisbo Local Government between 2013-2015 maintained that his antecedents in politics, people’s support and readiness to serve are some of the obvious factors that would give him edge above the opponents to triumph.
