A constituent in Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State, Mustapha Sodeeq has described the candidate of Social Democratic Party(SDP) for Oyo North Senatorial District, Rt Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola as a woman of substance and impeccable character, whose impact and representation would be felt at the red chamber of National Assembly come 2023.
Sodeeq disclosed this in Saki, while speaking with Khalid Imran, editor, naijatodaynew.com
The constituent who maintained that he is neither a member of SDP nor other political party but only has passion and interest in Adeola based on how he knows her and good things that people keep saying about her.
Sodeeq said he had made up his mind to cast his vote for her and also ensures he canvasses people to give their mandates to her.
According to him,”she is a straight forward person whose impeccable character, openness, sincerity, transparency and trustworthiness had continued to endear her to people regardless of political affiliations”.
“She is a kind woman, cheerful giver and philanthropist of note, who gives without expecting neither appreciation nor any gratification in return.
“She has better and sound mastery of legislation when it comes to effective representation, sponsorship of bills/motions and oversight functions among others, as her erstwhile membership at the House of Representatives had remained prerequisites for the next assignment.
Sodeeq maintained that the experiences garnered at the plenary sessions of the Green Chamber over the years had no doubt prepared her for the task ahead.
He described her as a soft spoken personality whose simplicity of choice of words and expressions would be needed to lobby other colleagues in order to facilitate development and progress to the senatorial district.
Sodeeq described her as someone with God’s piety, who would be just, fair and equitable to all regardless of religion, political platforms and other dichotomies.
He however enjoined voters across Oyo North Senatorial District, to regard her competence, mastery of legislation, experience, political exposure and other qualities as antidotes to get her elected into the red chamber of National Assembly come 2023.
