Nigeria @ 62: Mulikat Felicitates Nigerians, Urges On Need To Be Peaceful, Indivisible

As Nigerians celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the nation’s independence, the candidate of Social Democratic Party(SDP) for Oyo North Senatorial District, Rt Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola has felicitated the constituents and entire Nigerians on memorable occasion of independence and however charged them on the need to remain one, united and peaceful.

Ogbomoso-born politician and Ex majority of the House of Representatives rejoiced with the constituents within and outside Oyo North Senatorial District on occasion of the country’s 62 years of emancipation from the colonial masters.

The SDP Senatorial Candidate however urged Nigerians to reflect on patriotic struggle, selfless service and commitment of past heroes and heroines, which eventually birthed independence of the country and the freedom we are all enjoying today.

She noted that the ultimate price paid by Nigeria’s heroes and heroines had no doubt culminated in total freedom of the country and her inhabitants from indirect rule championed by the British government.

Obinrinrere she is fondly called, however enjoined the constituents and entire Nigerians to remain one, united and peaceful despite challenges ravaging Nigeria’s coexistence.

She maintained that the country would surely attain her enviable heights with enthronement of credible, just, fair and God’s piety leaders.

As 2023 general elections beckon, Mulikat asked Nigerians to justify the usefulness of election as a means to make good, transparent and credible leaders.

She however advocated for peaceful, free and fair elections that would usher in the leaders of people’s choice, accountability, transparency and stewardship.
