The APC Governorship Candidate in Oyo State for 2023 general elections, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin has justified the capacity, competence and credibility of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the primus inter pares for the next Nigeria’s president.
Also, reiterated his stance to consideration and qualities of All APC candidates as basic criteria to have them elected come 2023 general elections.
Folarin justified his stance in the midst of progressive supporters in OkeOgun axis of Oyo State, while on pre-campaign assessment tour.
The third timer senator of Oyo Central Senatorial District who began his assessment tour in Iwajowa Local Government Area of the state maintained that he and other progressive stalwarts were out to preach the gospel of Tinubu’s presidency and reasons for his enthronement as the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Ibadan High Chief Stressed that out of the three leading presidential candidates for 2023 general elections, Tinubu has edge based on his capacity, competence, credibility and track records as the former governor of Lagos State.
Folarin who maintained same position while in the midst of traditional rulers disclosed that APC had no doubt become Yoruba’s party, while Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of PDP is coming from North and Peter Obi of Labour party comes for Igbos’ extraction.
He enjoined people of Oyo State to give their mandates to the APC presidential flag bearer in order to meet up with 80 percent votes needed from pacesetter state.
In another vein, Folarin urged people not to vote Tinubu alone but also all progressive candidates jostling for the seats in the National Assembly, stressing that achievements of these plans would help Tinubu have majority among the national lawmakers in order to promote laws aimed at accelerating development across Nigeria.
Folarin who toured the ten local governments in OkeOgun within 5 days however asked people of the state to throw their weight behind him on success of his gubernatorial ambition, reiterating that,mandates to give him and other progressive candidates for Oyo State House of Assembly would no doubt move the state forward.
He did not only tour OkeOgun alone but also with presence of Senator Fatai Buhari of Oyo North Senatorial District, Engr Soliu Abu Gbadamosi for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, other candidates, party’s stalwarts and supporters across the zone.
