I Embark On Roads’ Patching To Prevent Incessant Accidents — Oyo PMS Boss, Auxiliary(See Photos)

The Chairman, Park Management System(PMS) in Oyo State, Alhaji Lamidi Mukaila popularly known as “Auxiliary” has embarked on patching Iyana church/Olodo and Oremeji/Idiobi roads in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Auxiliary and members of PMS in Ibadan began patching the roads with gravels, granite and sand in order to make them more motorable.

While speaking with naijatodaynew.com, Auxiliary disclosed that he started filling the potholes on those major roads in the ancient city of Ibadan so as to prevent incessant accidents, easy passage of motors and their longevity.

He added that those roads which are called for rehabilitation are not in good condition for both motorits and pedestrians.

Alhaji Mukaila maintained that his attention on those roads was act of community service aimed at showing to the public that government cannot attend to all roads at the same time.

Adding that people and most especially those who are well to do in the society should not wait for the government until welfare and betterment of life will be brought to all and sundry.

Auxiliary noted that Seyi Makinde and PDP led administration in Oyo state has been busy rehabilitating roads across the zones of pacesetter state, stressing that the ones fixing by him was to justify that he comes from Ibadan and he is equally being identified with PDP in Oyo State.

We will recall that, last week, the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde awarded the 35.6km Iwo Road Interchange (Ibadan) – Olodo Bridge – Lalupon – Papa Village (Oyo/Osun Boundary) at a contract sum of N12.5billion.

Auxiliary however showered encomiums on Makinde for awarding the rehabilitation of the said road, noting this gesture will encourage inter transportation between Oyo, Osun, and other States respectively.
