Makinde Should Explain Where, When & How He Gave Me N50M — Mulikat Challenges Oyo Governor

The SDP Candidate for Oyo North Senatorial District, Rt Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola has debunked allegation of N50M entrusted to her care before 2019 general elections and however asked Governor Seyi Makinde to explain where, when and how he disbursed such amount to her.

She debunked this allegation while appearing recently on Political Circuit anchored by Isaac Brown of Fresh FM in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

The Senatorial Candidate stressed in a programme monitored by naijatodaynew.com that she did not collect any kobo from anybody not to talk of N50M from Governor Seyi Makinde.

Ogbomoso-born politician asked Makinde to come out openly on this allegation and substantiate where, when and how he gave the money to her.

Mulikat noted that, prior the 2019 general elections, she had become the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Oyo North Senatorial District, where she spent from her pocket without collecting a dime from anybody throughout of the civic exercise.

She maintained that she toured the 13 Local Governments making the senatorial district and ensured she campaigned vigorously for herself, Makinde and other PDP candidates whose constituencies fell into the zone without asking anyone to bring a dime.

She affirmed that she remains a woman of substance, integrity and impeccable character whose fear of God can’t allow her to partake in any dubious act.

Mulikat reiterated her stance to fear of God, care for humanity and their betterment at all times, asking those who are hellbent to tarnish her image to desist outrightly for the sake of God.

While speaking on her defection from PDP, Mulikat disclosed that she joined PDP as far back as 1998 and she has not for once left the party, except now she couldn’t bear injustice in the party at the state level.

Adding that she had no intention to leave the conservative party but she needed to, because Governor Makinde does not want to see her and many of those who worked and toiled for his emergence as the incumbent governor of pacesetter state.

Mulikat maintained that Makinde disappointed her and her supporters, despite commitment and dedication all showed to his victory at party’s level and general elections respectively.

She said, her members’ advice necessitated defection when Governor didn’t give room for oneness and unity, despite intervention of countless reconciliatory committees.

Mulikat reiterated that they have left already to SDP and she has firm belief that with God, she and her supporters will be fine.
