Market Traders Association of Nigeria (MATAN) on Sunday eulogized former governor of Oyo State and the Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland, Sen. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on the occasion of his 78th birthday.
A statement jointly signed by the Oyo State chairman of the association, Princes Folashade Azzezat Nurudeen, noted that the Otun Olubadan is one of few leaders who have contributed his quota towards the develpoment and stability of the state and Nigeria as a whole.
The statement said Ladoja’s role as the bridge builder and political rallying point can not be over emphasised particularly at this current political dispensation.
“High Chief Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja is a man who has given to the service of humanity, and has provided exemplary leadership to his political children.”
“On behalf of MATAN in Oyo State, we congratulate you, you shall live long to eat the fruit of your labour.”
Princess Folashade prayed to God to grant Ladoja good health and more year on earth.
Folashade Abeo, on behalf of Market Traders Association of Nigeria however thanked Ladoja for his support and leadership role on MATAN and betterment of the state, saying Ibadan and Oyo State at large would continue to move higher.
