The Accord Candidate for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Hon. Sola Ogunbode has debunked his withdrawal from the contest to the House of Representatives.

Ogunbode whose name was part of the list of 2023 candidates released by Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) this week debunked outrightly while in a conversation with Khalid Imran, editor, naijatodaynew.com

Okeho-born politician and Akinrogun of the ancient town maintained that there is no iota of truth in a rumour and speculation spreading like wild fire that he has withdrawn from the race to green chamber of the National Assembly.

He stressed that he is very much in the race and he believes by the grace of Almighty God, he would definitely coast home to victory.

Ogunbode who is currently out of the country however enjoined his supporters and accord members across the federal constituency to put their minds at rest, stressing that those who are spreading the rumours are those who are jittery by his rising influence and growing structures.

He promised to deliver on effective representation, oversight functions and sponsorship of bills/motions needed to enhance the betterment of the constituents.
