The All Progressives Congress (APC), National Vice Chairman in the Southwest, Isaac Kekemeke, has appealed to yoruba at home and in diaspora to ensure that the Presidential Candidate of the party, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is given the needed support in order to coast home to victory at the poll slated for 2023.

He affirmed that when Tinubu becomes the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023, he would unequivocally make governance of inclusiveness that cares for welfare, betterment and good livings of all and sundry.

Kekemeke made appeal during a press conference, on Wednesday, in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state.

He stressed that, the APC Presidential Flag bearer needs support of all Yoruba race in the project for landslide victory, maintaining that Tinubu’s emergence would ensure that the dividends of democracy are given to all regardless of race, religions and other dichotomies.

Kekemeke however said that the party had set up an APC advisory committee which will work with the zonal executives and other leaders of the party to ensure total victory for APC.

According to him, Tinubu would ensure inclusiveness, provide a lasting solution to the problems the country is faced with.

Kekemeke said that Tinubu’s antecedents speak for him and his actions have shown that if Nigerians adopt him as president, he would carry them along in his cabinet and governance.

He further stated that Tinubu had displayed uncommon leadership capacity and would steer the affairs of the country for the good of all.

Adding that, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has never been known to betray Yoruba race and he would never do as he is warming up to lead the nation.

“He is a Nigerian, he is a nationalist, Southwest Yoruba man and he has always been fighting on the side of his people for justice, fairness, progress and development. Incidentally, this is the character of a Yoruba person in Nigeria politics.

“May I remind you that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu fought on the side of truth, rule of law and fairness during the June 12.

He was there with MKO Abiola through thick and thin. He joined, sponsored and worked with NADECO all through, leading to his exile.

All what the people can accuse Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu about is that he believes the Yorubas can thrive exceedingly well in a Nigeria nation where there is justice, fairness and equity”, he said.

Kekemeke enjoined all children of Oduduwa descendants at home and in diaspora to throw their weight behind Tinubu in order to emerge victoriously.
