Members of Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ), OkeOgun Federated Chapel, Oyo State commended The Executive Chairman, Kajola Local Government, Alhaji(Hon.) Salimonu Afolabi Borikansunwon over his appreciable approach to governance and attainment of giant strides.
The Chapel’s Chairman, Comrade Ismail Ogundeji passed the commendation at the end of the maiden congress of the chapel held at the Local Government Conference Hall, Okeho, Oyo State.
Ogundeji applauded Alh Salimonu Afolabi on his appreciable approach to governance and attainment of giant strides in education, health, agric economy, security and illumination of the communities via the installation of new transformers among others.
While reacting, Borikanbasuwon, dedicated his lofty achievements to God and Governor of Oyo State,Gov.Seyi Makinde who are the brain behind his lofty achievements.He therefore promised to intensify effort in making life better for people in the area.
Meanwhile,the Chapel Executive had earlier paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba(Dr) AbdulRafiu Mustapha Osuolale Adeitan II ,The Onjo of Okeholand to receive a royal blessing to enable them have laudable achievements
In his address, the monarch thanked members for the courtesy visit and however promised to chat with indigenous philanthropists and other monarchs in OkeOgun zone on how to uplift media organizations in Oke-Ogun area.
Other prominent members present are Comrades Khalid Imran(Secretary), Tolu Fatunwase(Auditor), Semiu Azeez(Ex-Chairman), Moshood Adebisi(State Vice Chairman), Tajudeen Adeniji(Ex-Auditor), Ajao Kehinde, Shola Ailako ,Joseph Friday and Peju Oyelakin(State NAWOJ Treasurer) respectively.
