A resident in Oyo State, who does not want his name in print has appraised the person of the current Deputy Director General, Oyo Central for Governor Seyi Makinde’s reelection campaign, Hon. Ezekiel Oladimeji Temitope(Otope), saying he would have gone far in terms of achievements, if he had been earlier appointed by the Governor.
Anonymous resident, while speaking with naijatodaynew.com stressed that Otope who is the founder & president of Otope Foundation and leading aspirant for House of Representatives, Egbeda/OnaAra Federal Constituency and other new appointees would have attained more feats to their sides, if they had earlier got the assignments.
He said Wale Ajani, who is a leading aspirant for Oyo Central Senatorial District has begun with restructuring of the workings of the office, establishment of liaison mechanism between federal MDAs and Oyo State Government, lobbying process for federal opportunities for Oyo State and compilation of compendium of Oyo State indigenes in directorate cadre in federal service among others. Adding that, Hon. Busoye Ogunlade, who heads Oyo State Road Management Agency(OYSROMA) has commenced Operation Zero Potholes in the state.
The resident maintained that, Otope who is an alumni of Urban Day Grammar School, Olaogun, Old Ife Road, Ibadan and Osun State Polytechnic had attained feats within little time he assumed the office.
He however charged Otope to reach out to party’s stakeholders, candidates, aspirants, youths and others who are mattered in PDP for useful pieces of advice in order to attain unprecedented results on current assignment.
In a similar vein, Comrade Ogunmuyi Idris said, as a party loyalist, he noted that his(Otope’s) respect for Governor Seyi Makinde was one of the reasons necessitating him to take up the job.
Reiterating that, Otope remains a great grassroot mobilizer, politician and technocrat who knows how to get the work done, stressing that he is a square peg in a square hole.
Idris, noted that his clear understanding about the task and Otope in particular are in tandem with his brilliance, ingenuity and political exposure to get the task done.
Adding that Otope’s priority is to get key members of the opposition APC and other parties in Oyo Central and the state as a whole in People’s Democratic Party(PDP).
He gave testimony that, Otope’s relentless efforts had culminated in defection of over 1000 people from Akala Vanguard and APC to PDP.
He said, he had been expediting actions towards unification and reconciliation among all PDP members in Oyo Central, adding that Otope would also be visiting PDP members in all wards and local government’s meetings before ending of this year.
In another vein, Idris described OnaAra-born politician as a kind man and philanthropist who enjoys passion and happiness in giving out to make people having access to good standard of living.
On issue of empowerment, he reckoned with notable empowerments which Otope has done, with a view to taking people out of poverty, citing an instance of mega empowerment he bankrolled in 2020.
Idris noted that Otope’s knowledge of Banking & Finance and his Bsc in Accounting at Southern New Hampshire University, USA, had no doubt assisted his 4CS multipurpose services in Lagos & 3CS Real Estate and appraisals incorporate in Virginia, USA among others.
He however revealed that, his coming into politics is a passion in human and community development, that is also meant to set future generations for success and improve their lives positively.
