The Political Head, Iseyin South Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Oyo State, Hon. Fasasi Raheem Ajibola popularly known as ‘ FM’ has expressed heartfelt condolences to the entire dynasty of the Aseyin of Iseyinland over the demise of Oba (Dr.) Abdulganiy Salawudeen Adekunle Oloogunebi Ajinese 1.
FM’s expression of grief was contained in a condolence statement he personally signed and made available to Naijatodaynew.com
The Political Head, said he received the news of His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr.) Abdulganiy Salawudeen Adekunle Oloogunebi’s death with rude shock but with total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
FM described late Monarch as a great father to many people including him, adding that, on many occasions, he invited him to his palace for father-to-son discussions and also on issues bothering on the development of Iseyinland, OkeOgun and Oyo State at large.
He said the monarch who until his death was the Chairman, Conference of Oke-Ogun Obas and Chiefs had provided good leadership aimed at ensuring unity and development of the zone in all ramifications.
Iseyin-born politician noted that the monarch’s demise was a great loss to Iseyin community, Oyo State and Yorubaland sequel to his exemplary qualities and natural instincts among others.
FM took solace in the fact that despite 62 years spent on earth and 15 years on the throne, Oba Ajinese 1 had scored remarkable scores which would forever remain points of reference to all and sundry.
In another vein, He also commiserated with Governor Seyi Makinde over the demise of the late Oba and however appreciated the people’s Governor for his good rapport which was in connection with tremendous assistance rendered to the late Oba during his life time and trying time before resulting to his death. FM reiterated that the entire Iseyin community will forever appreciate His Excellency’s kind gesture.
He also commended the Deputy Governor, Barr. Bayo Lawal whose representation at the burial programme of the late monarch was said to be exemplary.
He however prayed Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljanah Fridauz and give the entire dynasty the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
