Eid el Kabir: Makinde’s Aide, Akin Oosa Felicitates Muslims, Enjoins Them To Pray For Peace,Togetherness

Former executive Vice-chairman, Ona Ara Local Government and Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Egbeda/OnaAra Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Mogaji Akinlolu Adegboyega known as ‘ Akin Oosa has congratulated Muslims across the constituency, Oyo State and Nigeria in general on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Kabir celebrations, enjoining them to pray for peace, oneness and togetherness across the country.

In a release signed by Akin Oosa and made available to naijatodaynew.com, he used the occasion to pray for peace, unity and progress of our country.

According to him, the grace of witnessing another Eid calls for rejoicing in the Almighty Allah for His infinite mercies and behoves all and sundry to be moderate in all situations, love one another and share out of their belongings to the needy.

He called on Nigerians of all religious backgrounds to be faithful as Prophet Ibrahim and reflect soberly on the need for peaceful coexistence which endengers progress and development in the spirit of Eid-el Kabir.

While wishing Muslims many happy returns of the festival, Akin Oosa lauded the Oyo State Government under Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde for maintaining relative peace and spreading the dividends of democracy across the noocks and crannies of the State in more than three years at the helms of affairs, stressing that “the first good term deserves another” for the State Governor.

Makinde’s Aide however felicitated the religious, political and community leaders in the federal constituency, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, with a prayer that this year’s Eid-el Kabir would usher in joy, peace and progress for the entire citizenry.
