The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo recently had a closed-door meeting with Security Stakeholders in the council area.
The meeting was held to deliberate on security issues as it affects the Local Council Area.

According to the chairman’s media aide, Mr. Bodija Akinwale, the all-important meeting was necessary to deliberate on security issues as they affect the Ibadan North Local Council Area and proffer solutions to them.
Present at the meeting were officials of the Nigeria Police Force, officials of the DSS, Customs, NSCDC, Nigerian Army, Prisons, Amotekun, and The Chief Security Officers of the two institutions in Ibadan north (the University of Ibadan and The Polytechnic of Ibadan) other community-driven security officers, and community representatives.
According to the chairman’s media aide;
The meeting assessed the security status of the Local Government while reviewing strategies for improved security measures across all grassroots communities in Ibadan North local government
