A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and former Chairman, Iseyin Local Government, Oyo State, Hon.(Alh.) Waheed congratulated the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli on their emergence as party’s presidential and Oyo South Senatorial candidates respectively.

Adeleke described their victories in a release he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynew.com as notable feats and rare attainments which are expected of political figures like them.

Iseyin-born politician exemplified Tinubu as a seasoned democrat and administrator per excellence whose accumulated years of experience while in a private sector and as a governor of Lagos State would be harnessed to lead Nigeria better.

Reiterating that, he is confident that Tinubu would reciprocate the good foundation he laid in Lagos for Nigeria’s progress and development.

In the same vein, “I will also like to congratulate Akogun (Barr.) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli on his election as the APC flag bearer for the Oyo South Senatorial District. He is a grassroot politician and well loved. We, his supporters in Oke-Ogun will do everything in our power to support his campaign”.

Adeleke however cautioned APC members in the pacesetter state not to adopt an attitude of winner takes all, in order to guarantee cohesion and unity aimed at winning the general elections for progressive party.

He charged them to acknowledge the party’s electoral contest and victories as challenges that would speed them to work passionately and diligently in order to coast home to victory at the subsequent general elections.

Adeleke reiterated that they need to be united so as to defeat an incumbent government which has all paraphernalia at her disposal to wage war against opposition parties.
