PDP Candidate for Egbeda/OnaAra Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Busari Olayemi has celebrated wife of the state Governor and First Lady of Oyo state, Engr. (Mrs.) Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde on the auspicious occasion of her 50th birthdate today.
Olayemi described Mrs. Makinde as a virtuous woman, woman of impeccable character and uncommon First Lady and a rare gem worthy of emulation by all.
According to a statement signed and made available to pressmen explained that Mrs. Makinde has through her simplicity and approach to public life displayed uncommon leadership traits peculiar to very rare people.
Justifying this statement, Olayemi noted that other governor’s wives from other states across Nigeria are known for open show of power and might using the office of the First Lady to amass unjustifiable influence and affluence for themselves stressing that Mrs. Makinde has proved that she is a great woman of uncommon enviable class.
Olayemi maintained that Mrs Makinde remains an epitome of simplicity and someone who has ethos of Omoluabi to relate with people regardless of closeness and distance.
He said she had been a pillar of support to her husband, Engr Seyi Makinde whose administration and governance have been characterized as applaudable to the masses.
On Mrs Makinde’s attainment of 50 years, Olayemi wished her well and prayed that the subsequent years of hers would be more blissful and prosperous.
