Hon. Adedeji Stanley OdidiOmo, PDP member of the House of Representatives for Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency, Oyo State has said that the second mandate would be judiciously used to give better care to the people.
OdidiOmo who secured the party’s ticket for second terms, appreciated the constituents of the constituency, while speaking with naijatodaynew.com
Odidiomo stated that “this is democracy at its best. No matter how many or how few the delegates are, it is a good thing that we have our delegates that basically and now going to the process to elect the candidate of PDP to represent or be the flag bearer for the presidential election in 2023.
“I am excited about this for 2 reasons. One, I am not saying that it will affect. At least we can see our democracy growing everyday. We found issues or solve the issues and I think Nigeria democracy will get stronger as we go along.
“When it comes to the presidency of a country, it is not a rice and beans that anybody can just say I wish somebody. I seek the wish or the will of God should prevail because Almighty Allah knows best. He knows what is good for us and I believe today is gonna bring the best candidate that can win and also unite the Nation to save us from this bloodshed everyday , save us from the this poverty, a failed dollar system, everything in financial system broken down.
“We have security situation. Division in the country, the North , the South against the East and the West, enough of it. We want a candidate that will unite the Nation back together. So that, that way we can become a prosperous Nation”,
“Thank God I just got the mandate of my people to represent them for the second time. It is all about the people. They are the one that have the mandate, they give it to you if you are doing well and I want to hope and believe that I have done the best of my ability and they will vote for me to represent them in second term.
“I am not worry about that at all because I know have done and represented them very well.
“Is like a game which have process and I thank Almighty God that they have picked their own candidate. We have our own brilliant candidate that basically I think we will show him exactly what democracy is all about. I am not worried at all that Gov Seyi Makinde is going to emerge the winner of People Democratic Party and be the governor of Oyo State for the second term.
“I am not worried at all because we have prayed to God and we know our prayers are answered. Even with the nomination of their candidate, we know our prayer will are answered”, OdidiOmo submitted.
