Oyo: Despite Endorsement Of Jumoke Akinjinde For National Delegate, I’m Still A Party Man — OnaAra PDP Chieftain, Adurodekun Maintains Stance, Drums Support For Olayemi’s Candidature

A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in OnaAra Local Government, Oyo State, Alhaji Waheed Ajao Adurodekun has said, despite endorsement of Ex Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Oloye Jumoke Akinjide as the council delegate for party’s national convention, he still remains a party man with firm loyalty.

OnaAra PDP Chieftain stressed that he remains a loyal, supportive and committed party’s man, despite endorsement of Akinjinde as the national delegate.

He maintained that he could not against Akinjide that, they are both staunched members of umbrella party who are for progress and development of umbrella party.

In another vein, Adurodekun said the issue of consensus arrangement orchestrated by party cannot be jettisoned, sequel to crises and other unforseen circumstances that would be prevented.

Adding that, democracy is in support of election, selection and consensus arrangement endorsed by Governor Seyi Makinde with substantial reasons for doing that.

Adurodekun furthered that, they have 14 leaders across Egbeda/OnaAra Federal Constituency and they are firmly in support of Hon. Busari Olayemi as the candidate for federal constituency, Bisi Ilaka for Oyo Central Senatorial District and Hon. Muhammad Fadeyi for OnaAra State House of Assembly respectively.

He said, for the sake of unity, love and progress in PDP, Adurodekun maintained that efforts are in top gear to appeal the aspirants who are aggrieved over the issue of consensus arrangement.
