Oyo: Egbeda/ Ona Ara Councilors Endorse Olayemi As PDP Constituency Candidate

All the Twenty Two(22) councilors in both Egbeda and Ona Ara Local Governments have declared their full support for Hon Busari Sikiru Olayemi.

The councillors’ endorsement of Olayemi’s candidature was confirmed at the meeting held on Thursday, May 19 in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

They said, Layemi had already prepared the ground for this period, tremendously worked for this season by Sowing the seeds at appropriate time and; this is the time to reap what he has sowed.

” Olayemi being a former Councilor and ex member Oyo State House of Assembly is also part of us and he’s our role model and we are hundred percent ready to support his ambition because he has always been our father.

“It has been brought to our notice that some aspirants are running helter skelter to secure delegate’s votes by promising them heaven and earth. But we as the Councilors representing all the Twenty two wards both in Egbeda and Ona Ara Federal Constituency, We are assuring you that our Conscience can never be bought.

” Olayemi has been helping a lot of people without collecting a dime and that’s why we tagged him “Kogbowo Kogbobi” We can tell you that No political office holder can boast of giving Hon Busari Olayemi One Kobo before he emerges because he will never collect such.

The House Leaders Egbeda and OnaAra Local Governments, Hon Oladebo Ibrahim Simple and Hon Olapade Fatai assured that all their Fellow councilors in their Local Governments are strongly behind Hon Busari Sikiru Olayemi.

Adding that his endorsement was as a result of his antecedents and politically exposed pedigree that are in connection with understanding of lawmaking, firm legislative experience, oversight functions and effective representation among other qualities.
