PDP Aspirant into Oyo State House of Assembly, from Kajola State Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Ajumobi has charged all political parties warming up for primaries to prioritise peace and unity at the expense of rancour, tension and other dastardly acts.

Ajumobi made this appeal in a release he personally signed and made it available to naijatodaynew.com

The aspirant whose political slogan represents “Isokan”(Unity) stressed that it is no more a speculation nor grapevine that parties’ primaries would begin this week, while their key players and aspirants are warming up for the contest.

Okeho-born politician noted that it is truly a competitive engagement that is supposed to be right to vote and be voted for, that devoids of intimidation and other forms of exercising oppression and dictatorship over others.

Ajumobi asked those who are statutorily qualified to participate in the exercise to display the true ethos and modicum of Omoluabi that would make the engagement free, fair, credible and transparent among other things.

He reminded all active players that an exercise is no doubt a call to serve the humanity, which does not in any way call for blood flow before the mission could be achieved.

Ajumobi enjoined delegates to vote according to their consciences in order to ascertain the presentation of credible candidates to participate at the general elections.
