My Defection From PDP Still Remains Speculation — Oyo Deputy Governor, Olaniyan

Oyo Deputy Governor, Engr Rauf Olaniyan has characterised his purported defection from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), publishing by almost online news media and some other print media as speculation that currently has no any iota of truth.

Olaniyan, in an exclusive interaction with naijatodaynew.com stressed that his alleged defection from PDP could only be characterised as speculation and grapevine that lack every iota of complete veracity.

In his substantiation, Oyo Deputy Governor expatiated that he stands by what he said on Sallah Day, ” that only Allah will decide his next political move and direction”.

Adding that those online news and print media who had earlier published different kinds of news stories regarding his purported defection from PDP to another political should have heard from horse’s mouth before they could go for publications.

Olaniyan maintained that he is alive and he is in the best position to make statement concerning his willingness and readiness to leave umbrella party at any time of his choice.

Calling on those political parties’ stakeholders making different insinuations in connection with his defection to wait for his arrival before making any release.

Igboho-born politician however said that there were many things happening in all political divides that call for extra study of phenomenal before making stance and true position.

He said twenty four (24) hours are long in politics, as events are happening in connection with issues, circumstances and people around them.
