Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola F/C: Soliu Abu Declares Intention, Seeks Elders’ Permission Over Obtainment Of Forms

With a view to securing a seat at the green chamber of National Assembly, aspirant for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Hon(Engr.) Soliu Abu Gbadamosi has declared his intention and readiness to contest at the general elections slated for 2023.

While declaring his intention on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at his country home, Isale Alfa in Ilero, Iwa Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Soliu Abu disclosed that he had made up his mind with firm eagerness and readiness to represent the federal constituency at the lower chamber of National Assembly, in order to contribute his own quota aimed at taking the place to enviable height.

His declaration of intention was attended by mammoth loyalists and supporters across the four local governments making the federal constituency, as the epoch making occasion was coordinated with prayer by Mallam Fasasi Tajudeen and Mr Azeez S.A.

While he was at the residence of All Progressives Congress, APC leader in Kajola Local Government, Alhaji Salau Aloshe, Soliu Abu made his intention known to APC elders and sought their permission over obtainment of expression of interest and nomination forms.

While speaking on behalf of elders, Aloshe thanked Soliu Abu for his courage and determination to throw his hat into the ring and asked him to proceed for procurement of both expression of interest and nomination forms. He prayed for him and enjoined him to play the game with decorum and in line with democratic tenets.

Elder Michael Ariori at Ward 11 charged the aspirant to continue to have absolute trust and reliance in God Almighty and believe in the fact that whatever project that God supports, becomes feasible.

He also asked Soliu Abu to forge ahead on purchase of forms and however called his attention to the fact that there are other aspirants jostling for same, reiterating that despite all odds, the true and acceptable candidate would eventually emerge.

Chief Imam of Ansar-u-deen in Okeho offered prayer as Elder Owonikoko in Ward07 advised him not to make promise he cannot fulfill, maintaining that many politicians had in the past made fruitless promises which in return distant them from the masses and party’s members respectively.

Baba Otunba of Isemi-Ile(Ward08) and Elder Olanrewaju Samuel Adeyemo of Aiyetoro(Ward1) enjoined him to believe in God over possibility of his ambition and however asked him to avoid favouritism and preferential treatment over distribution of dividends of democracy while the dream eventually turns to reality.

In his submission, Soliu Abu thanked the elders and leaders in APC for the given privilege to appear before them and promised that he would not disappoint if he is considered as the candidate to represent the party at the general elections coming in 2023.

He pledged that he would definitely return power to the elders whose decision and supremacy would be felt on every programme and whatever to be done.

On a note of assurance, Soliu Abu pledged that he would begin his intervention project on the date he secures the ticket as the flag bearer to fly the party’s ticket.

He called on people to have trust in God over his ambition and promised to do everything in his capacity to ensures he doesn’t disappoint them when he wins the ticket and general elections respectively.
