Media Aide to the Executive Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Bodija Akinwale known as BOWA has celebrated his birthdate with destitutes and less-privileged ones in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

According to him,” birthdays are special days celebrated to commemorate the day an individual was born to the World and to celebrate one’s present attainment of a given age of his/her life._
“It is in the same light that the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, who is also the Publisher BOWA MEDIA, Bodija Akinwale deemed it fit to commemorate the day he was born with people she considered as “special persons” who he holds so dear to his heart.
“On the visit to the destitute at Sabo central mosque, the Celebrant, Bodija Akinwale distributed food, snacks and drinks to hundreds of the persons with certain forms of disabilities; the aged and people with disabilities who are penniless and lacking the means to provide for themselves.
“BOWA who couldn’t hide his emotion owing to the conditions of the people said he is always touched by the predicament of the target group and said he is fulfilled celebrating his birthday with them.
“I chose to celebrate with them because there is no point celebrating and eating with those who already have”
“There is need to have a feel of those who are in need, he hinted when asked why he decided to spend his day with the less privileged and homeless.
“He said the target group consist of persons who need food, and approaching them with such assistance when they least expected is rewarding.
He sympathized with them and said there is need for them to be rehabilitated considering the challenges they are going through. BOWA said he is accustomed to feeding at least Over 50 persons today been his birthday.
“He said his intention is to do more with the little resources God has blessed him with was drawn from his principal, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government Hon Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba Egbe) for kind gestures towards people at all times.
“The gesture was to put smiles on the faces of the target group, rekindle their hope and give them a sense of belonging in the society.
He called for interventions by government at all levels and spirited individuals to address the challenges being faced by the target persons.
“In his remark, one of those benefited, lauded the humanitarian gesture of the celebrant and for identifying with the less privileged.
“He commended him for always assisting the needy at every given opportunity.
He prayed God to preserve him, bless him with long life and provide him with the resources to do more.
The beneficiaries who couldn’t hide their joy appreciated the Celebrant for the gesture and prayed God to reward him immensely.
” They described him as friend just like the council chairman, Agba Egbe who is ready to sacrifice to ensure other people fulfilled.
