Engineer Abiodun Oluwaseyi Makinde, the Oyo State Governor, was said to have instructed Hon Busari Olayemi to represent him at the last year’s Ramadan Lecture that took place in Oyo, and he on behalf of Makinde promised Islamic clerics big buses.
Olayemi, who is the PDP candidate for Egbeda/OnaAra Federal Constituency at the general elections slated for 2023 reminded Makinde of the promise made to the clerics.

According to him, “the merciful Allah had made the bus donation fulfilled on August 19, 2022 when Hon Olayemi reminded the Governor’s promise during this year Ramadan Lecture that took place at premises of Government house, Agodi.
“Immediately, the Governor was informed, he quickly organized the big new bus for the visiting clerics who had been, since last year, yarning to get the Governor’s donation pronounced to them by Rt Hon Olayemi.
“All the Alfas/Imams presented during the presentation of the new vehicle at the Governor’s country home were full of joy and happiness.
The lucky beneficiaries of the bus gift are Sheik Uthman Saani Sheu, and Prof S.H.A Maliq.
“In another development, Hon Olayemi Dhikirullah BUSARI promised Akingbade community the sum of #200,000 (two hundred thousand naira) for the new mosque’s construction, the promise had been fully fulfilled, NO PROMISE AND FAIL IN LAYEMI’S LIFE.
“Also, the Algon National vice president double with Executive Egbeda Chairmanship, Hon Oyedele Dhikirullah Sanda, gave cash of #100,000 (hundred thousand naira) on the spot.
“Hon Kolawole Arowolo the kind hearted, hardworking ward nine councilor was the chief host of the occasion that full of fantasy and fanfare.
“In a nutshell, let’s be thankful to Almighty Allah for giving to us in Egbeda/Onaara local government councils, nice and kind politicians like MAKINDE O.A
