Oyo: Kajola LG Information Officer, Adekunle Appreciates People’s Attendance At Wife’s Burial Service

Head of Information Unit, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Comrade Richard Adebayo Adekunle has shown his appreciation to people who commiserated and participated at the burial service of his late wife(Comrade Grace Adebimpe Adekunle) who died on Wednesday, 30th March, 2022 and committed to mother’s earth on Friday, 1st April, 2022.

Adekunle’s message of appreciation was contained in a release he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynew.com

According to him, “on behalf of my family, I, Comrade Richard Adebayo Adekunle, Head of Information Unit, Kajola Local Government of Oyo State appreciate all and sundry for your love, concern and support since the demise of my dear dear wife – a rare gem, pleasant and loving mother, religious and extremely generous companion; and indeed a character that characterises the characteristics of an epitome of humility, Late Comrade Grace Adebimpe Adekunle who passed away on Wednesday 30th March, 2022 after a brief illness.

“We acknowledge your attendance at the burial service which came up on Friday 1st April, 2022 at The Reverend Aiki Baptist Church, Ilero Oyo State.

“We equally acknowledge the tremendous support from people of various walks of life who identified with our family in the course of the illness that eventually led to the death of our “jewel of inestimable value”.

“Many thanks to Religious and Community Leaders, Chairmen of Kajola and Saki West Local Governments; as well as Political Heads of Wewe, Asabari and Iwa Local Cooucil Development Areas of Oyo State and their Heads/Acting Heads of Local Government Administration.

“Our appreciation also goes to members of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees ( NULGE ) across Local Governments in Oyo State, particularly in Oke Ogun Area; Forum of Directors of Education and Social Services in the Local Governments of Oyo State led by the President, Comrade Samson Oyedele Ojo; All Local Government Information Officers ( ALGIO ) , Oyo State led by the Chairman, Alhaji K. K. Kareem; Conference of CDOs and CDIs in the Local Governments of Oyo State led by the Chairman, Comrade Abraham Oketayo; Directors;, Acting Directors and Sectional Heads from Kajola,Saki West, Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Iwajowa, Saki East and Atisbo Local Governments; as well as Wewe, Asabari, Iwa, Iganna, Iseyin South, Araromi and Atisbo South Local Cooucil Development Areas, among others from council areas of Oyo State.

“We can not but extend our hearts of gratitude to the entire congregation of both First Baptist Church, Ago-Are and The Reverend Aiki Baptist Church, Ilero; with special thanks to Ilero community, Ago-Are community, Afunrugbin Society of First Baptist Church Ago-Are, our In-laws from Igbope, Oyo State, friends, associates, well wishers and family members for rising up to the occasion.
