The Elero of Ileroland, Iwa Local Council Development Area(LCDA) in Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka has prayed for development and progress of the ancient town.
The prayer was said by His Royal Majesty on Friday, March 18, 2022 in Ilero at the remembrance party celebration organised by Comrade Olalekan Ogunkanbi in respect of his late mother, Madam Ruth Adenrele Ogunkanbi.
Oba Oyedele Saka prayed for limitless progress of the ancient town and however called on all indigenes to invest at home for the betterment of all residing in the community.
On reason for remembrance party celebration, Comrade Olalekan Ogunkanbi justified that the celebration was meant for 5th remembrance of his late mother, Madam Ruth Adenrele Ogunkanbi.
Ogunkanbi stressed that church service had preceded the event, while clerics and all other anointed men of God offered special prayer for the late mother.
He added that he, his siblings and entire family members were doing that to ensure that Mama lives for life.
Ogunkanbi however lavished encomiums on the Elero of Ileroland, Oba Oyedele Saka, the chiefs, all well-wishers, friends and family who regardless of short notice trooped in to rejoice with him, praying that may all live behind the aged ones.
The epoch making occasion was well attended by well-wishers and admirers across the country.
