The political head/administrator,Ibadan South LCDA ,Hon Teslim Ogundeji has reassured residents,traders, business owners and people with one thing or the other to do at the lcda of his administration’s commitment to impacting meaningfully on their lives through the provision of amenities and efficient infrastructure.
Ogundeji stated this while playing host to executive and other stakeholders of the Adelabu International Market.
According to the versatile administrator,leaving a legacy of good governance is a sacred mandate he would never compromise, stating that his sojourn in politics is borne out of the desire to contribute positively to the lives of the people.
In his words”I have been in politics for a very long time and one thing I have come to realize is that posterity always judge.Governance is about having a laudable vision and being able to transform the vision into reality when opportunity presents itself.With God on my side and prayers of everyone,I shall strive towards getting dividends of democracy to every nook and cranny of the lCDA.
Ogundeji,a grassroot politician promised that he is working towards ensuring that on/before 24 th May 2022 when his administration would be a year in office,a befitting and modern car park would have been provided at the famous Adelabu International Market in line with the stakeholders request all things being equal.
The administrator stated emphatically that the PDP led administration of His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde in oyo state has taken governance to an unprecedented level;from increased IGR devoid of hardship on the people to provision of amenities and infrastructure,security and general well-being,everyone can actually attest that oyo state is moving.
He urged the executives to cooperate with government especially in prompt payment of rent and effective monitoring and maintenance of government infrastructure.
Responding,leader of the team expressed joy at the administrator’s handling of administration of the market promising that they are ready to key into his programmes and policies of development.
