The Chief Executive Officer, CEO Ilaji Hotel & Sports Resorts, in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, Chief(Engr) Dotun Sanusi has been installed as the Patron of Hoteliers’ Association of Nigeria, Southwest.
The installation was confirmed by all the hotel owners in Southwest, Nigeria, at a Gala Night held yesterday at the Olugbade Hall of Ilaji Resort, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The members of management of the resort in their excitement, “it was another feather to the deserving cap of a man who has done so much for the hospitality industry in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
“Within a few years he made incursion into the hospitality industry in Nigeria, without mincing words the name Dotun Sanusi has become a colossus in the ever dynamic hotel and tourism business.
“He has brought his business ingenuity and engineering creativity into bear on the industry which had so much to give but yet got little helping hands from the people at the corridors of power.
“However, with the establishment of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort few years back, our Chairman has brought into fore the limitless opportunities in the tourism sector as through his company he has engineered and activated a soci-economic development of a once moribund society.
“It is against this background that the association of all hotel owners in the South West of Nigeria installed him as their Patron during a Gala Night held yesterday at the Olugbade Hall of Ilaji Resort”, the statement ended.
