Aspirant into the red chamber of National Assembly, for Oyo Central Senatorial District, Oyo State, Comrade Wale Ajani has described Governor Seyi Makinde as someone who has the notable prerequisites to vie for presidency in 2023, provided it is zoned to Southern Nigeria.
Ajani who intends to contest under the banner of People’s Democratic Party(PDP) made this disclosure in a short piece of writing he personally structured and made it available to news men in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The Senatorial hopeful stressed that Makinde remains a presidential material with prerequisites to match any APC candidate from the south in the general election that is slated for 2023.
Ajani maintained that Makinde’s records are straight, that he is the current Governor of Oyo State, whose performances in all sectors are unprecedented.
He stressed that his academic qualifications and age are within the purview of undeniable requirements to make the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ajani described him as a man of impeccable character and nobility who has neither EFCC nor criminal cases against his person and personality as the Governor of Pacesetter State.
He characterised Makinde as a family man to the core, detribalized Nigerian, youth friendly and savvy.
The Ex President of National Youth Council of Nigeria(NYCN) with engineering background reiterated that Governor Seyi Makinde has what it takes to lead this country to an enviable height.
