The Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu has presented a letter of interest to the National Chairman, People’s Democratic Party(PDP), with a view to contesting for presidency come 2023.
Momodu presented his letter of interest to the party national chairman, at his office in Abuja, with attendance of press men.
In his words, PDP Presidential hopeful disclosed that he considered it significant to intimate Ayu with his presidential aspiration and equally presented a letter of interest showing his readiness and preparedness for the national task and however promised the press to present them with copies of contents detailing his profiles and antecedents.
While welcoming him, PDP National Chairman welcomed Momodu to his office and applauded him for honouring him with visit to intimate him of his enthusiasm to contest 2023 presidency.
Ayu maintained that party would welcome all presidential aspirants and other contestants, stressing that a level playing ground would be given to all, irrespective favouritism, nepotism and preferential treatment, which may mar the process.
Ayu acknowledged Momodu as a professional media practitioner, tasking him to show more unflinching support to the party and create strong platforms through which his ambition and party would be better promoted.
He enjoined Momodu to understand the fact that others would be welcomed, party would decide at an appropriate time, and whoever emerges would be supported at the long run.
Ayu maintained that PDP remains the only and genuine organic party that is ready to rescue the country from alleged maladministration of APC led government.
