People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Aspirant into Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Ajumobi has lavished encomiums on members of Okeho Development Youth Forum(ODYF) over their painstaking and concerted efforts that culminated in possibility of first Okeho Youth Day.
Okeho born politician who aspires to represent Kajola State Constituency at Oyo State House of Assembly come 2023, in a release he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com.ng commended members of ODYF for doing all best of theirs to ensure that the historical day came to pass.
Ajumobi stressed that it was a blissful and thankful moment for him that he was graciously part of the history, aimed at contributing to the progress and development of ancient town of Okeholand.
Assembly Hopeful maintained that the historical event of Okeho Youth Day that took place at LA Basic School, Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State on Saturday, January 8, 2022 was an avenue and privilege to rub minds together and positively understand reasons that require speaking with one voice in order to attain the targeted common goal.
Ajumobi commended members of ODYF for their initiatives and wisdom that gave birth to first Okeho Youth Day, praying that their painstaking efforts and patriotic struggles would be better known for goodness.
In his admonition, he enjoined them to jettison politics, sentiments, religious bias and other impediments that may mar the fruition of their goal.
Ajumobi equally charged them to respect the opinions of one another, speak with one voice and possibly adhere to antidotes of success of success, which he classified as: love, unity and peace respectively.
He appreciated all the indigenes of the soil and other invites, who out of no time considered it significant to attend the epoch making event, praying that their attendance at the expense of monetary and other valuable engagements would in return have the blessings of God Almighty.
