Ogungbenro stressed that the media remains the watchdog to the society which should act in line with the ethical and legal limitations of the profession.

He enjoined the media men to call attention of the politicians to order before they could write anything that would tarnish the politicians’ images and other concerned personalities.

Oyo PDP Chair, emphasized that PDP led administration in the pacesetter state would not toy with the media men in the course of their professional responsibilities.

He enjoined the press to act more on key functions of information, enlightenment, education and other secondary functions which are characterized as surveillance and transmission of cultural heritage respectfully.

In another vein, Ogungbenro has characterized All Progressives Congress(APC) as the party which has gone on a long political voyage.

He reiterated that Governor Seyi Makinde’s led administration in the state has shown good and purposeful governance to entire people of the state.

He stressed that the people of the state have tasted good governance, which has unequivocally yielded goodies and other dividends of democracy for the people.

He said an attempt by APC to come back to the pacesetter state would be outrightly rejected by electorate at an appropriate time.

Ogungbenro called on people and most especially the aggrieved ones to see substantial reasons why Governor Seyi Makinde should be supported, so as to deliver more on exemplary governance.
