As Ona ara students union inaugurate new excos, comrade Oladipupo Olalekan Shakirudeen (INTELLECTUALS) charges new excos to ensure a synergy between the union and the local government council executives. He said this while giving lectures at the symposium organized by the students body to mark the end of an existed tenure and inauguration of new executives. He rated the outgoing excos as a wonderful one for ensuring a sincere transition at the exact completion of their tenure, not minding the fact that they were the first inaugurated executives of the union.
I insisted on the need to carry along the local government executives and other Political class of the association. I also advised them on the need to be apolitical as been partisan can easily affect the union and cause future challenge for the association.
I also plead to the chairman of the local government, Hon. Musibau Sanusi, the Hon. Member representing the local government, Hon. Muhammed Fadeyi, and other Political class to carry along the students body in their budget and in any form of empowerment specifically made for the youth.
In conclusion, I charged the newly inaugurated excos to ensure unity among themselves and be a good ambassador of our noble local government in their various campus of studies.
I therefore use this medium to appreciate the union on the award given to me as the best adviser of the union.
