Wedding: Oyo Speaker, Bride Appreciate Constituents Over Staunched Support

Following the success of his wedding ceremonies held in Ibadan, the Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin has acknowledged and appreciated what he called immense support given to him and his new wife by the teeming constituents in Ibarapa East Local Government.

The Speaker stated this during his wedding thanksgiving program held at the First Baptist Church, Anko Eruwa.

According to him, having had a successful solemnization with Olamidun Majekodunmi, it was only appropriate for me to give all glory and adoration to the Most High whose love endureth forever for the grace.

He therefore said that the best place to dance and sing unto the Lord in appreciation of His mercy was at his family church in Eruwa , adding that the choice of the First Baptist Church, Anko Eruwa was deliberate.

” I, on behalf of my beautiful wife and our families will forever be grateful to the Lord for the success of our wedding. Our joy knows no bounds. We therefore appreciate everyone for their support in cash or kind. My special gratitude is equally extended to my people in Ibarapa East State Constituency for their encouragement, prayers and support at all times. This is why my wedding thanksgiving program is meant to appreciate God and my people for being there always. This is surely the Lord’s doing and it is marvellous im our eyes.”

The Speaker assured the people of Ibarapa land that the Governor Seyi Makinde led Government in Oyo State will fulfill all his election campaign promises to the zone.

The bride, Olamidun Majekodunmi said she was thrilled by the love shown to her by the people of Ibarapa East state constituency.

In his sermon, the Undershepherd of the Church, Rev Moses Ayoola urged the couple to build their home on the solid rock of eternal God.

Rev Ayoola emphasized the need for the Speaker and his new wife to love , tolerate and understand one another in order to build a strong and lasting relationship.

At a reception ceremony held shortly after the church program, one of the PDP leaders in Oyo State, Hon Olayiwola Gabriel popularly called Layi Baale said it was commendable that the Speaker decided to quit bachelorhood at this time, adding that it was the right decision to make.

Others at the thanksgiving program including Hon Peter Ojedokun (Ibarapa North/Central) and Dr Anthony Adebayo , Chairman Oyo state Water Corporation expressed their best wishes to the Speaker and his new wife.

Highpoint of the Wedding thanksgiving program was the joining of the Men Missionary Union of the Church by the Speaker while his beautiful bride was received into the Women Missionary Union.
