Oyo Reps’ Member, Odidi Omo Condoles Ogbomoso Over Death of Soun, Extols Virtues of Late Monarch

House of Representatives member,representing Ibadan Southwest/Northwest Federal Constituency, Ibadan, Oyo State, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide who is known as “Odidi Omo” has shown his heartfelt condolences to the entire Soun royal families, the people of Ogbomoso land and all Yoruba traditional rulers on the demise of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III.

In a condolence message he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com.ng, Odidi Omo extolled the extraordinary and committed leadership qualities of the late monarch, to his people during his 48 years’ reign as Soun of Ogbomoso land.

The Federal parliamentarian disclosed that the highly revered monarch would be long remembered for his noble roles and dedication towards improvement of the lives and betterment of the people of Ogbomoso and Oyo State at large

He stated that Soun’s royal pieces of advice and great counsels had been considered no doubt useful for many politicians, business men, technocrats and academic personalities among others.

Odidi Omo, admitted without equivocation that under the late monarch’s reign, Ogbomoso witnessed remarkable and unprecedented transformations in every sphere of life, including immense contributions to agriculture, education, vocational skills and other strategic areas of human endeavour.

Odidi Omo, expressed the optimism that Ogbomoso and indeed all who mourn the late king will continue to honour his legacy of selfless service and commitment to humanity.

He prayed God to be with the entire people of Ogbomoso land, and give the bereaved families that the late monarch left behind an equanimity to bear the huge loss.
