Following the feasibility of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH branch in Iseyin, Political Head, Iseyin South, Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Iseyin Local Government, Area of Oyo State, Hon. Raheem Ajibola who is popularly known as ‘FM’ has said that the indigenes and general inhabitants in the council area and beyond will appreciate Governor Seyi Makinde with their votes when it is an appropriate time.
FM disclosed this, shortly after Makinde’s turning of sod of the administrative building of the College of Agricultural Science and Renewable Natural Resources at Ogbakuta area, along Iseyin-Okeho road on Saturday, December 4.
The Political Head stressed that Makinde has attained another milestone feat in Iseyin by making the long dream a reality, adding that the members of the community would never be ungrateful, as they would ensure that 90 percent votes in Iseyin go to Makinde in 2023.
FM said though, Makinde has not made his public declaration of ambition to re contest, party at large would convince him to forge ahead, so as to make further amends of alleged battered system.
In his commendation, FM lavished encomiums on Makinde for being a directional and successful Governor, who had within two years in office provided countless numbers of employment opportunities to the youths in order to keep them busy and purposefully reduce crime rates in the state.
He stressed that, Makinde has improved the economy of the state with detection and exploitation of mineral resources which are deposited across the length and breadth of the state, adding that his productive impacts on improvement of state’s Internal Generated Revenue(IGR) is also considered worthy of appreciation.
FM said that, the governor’s free education at primary to secondary school levels and reduction in school fees of the students at the respective tertiary institutions in the state, should be wholeheartedly commended.
He however enjoined Makinde to again throw his hat to the ring, stressing that the governor has done well for Iseyin LG and Oyo State at large, and the only way he could be appreciated is to give him votes of wide margin, in order to ascertain his reemergence.
FM charged people regardless of political affiliations, sentiments and acrimony to throw weight behind Makinde, so as to fulfill all promises made during his electioneering campaign.
