The will to succeed is important, but more importantly is the will to prepare.
Without mincing words, we all have witnessed the highly condemned Congress sponsored by Ego Trippers party members, and conducted by some unscrupulous elements in APC by the National officials and obviously, it is without doubt that they are poised to plung Oyo APC future into Darkness, demoralize many democratic aspirations and inflict severe injury on the grassroots progressive members, without remorse.
The frivolous Kangaroo Congress of the 30th October, 2021 exposed inordinate ambition of some members, who are beclouded by their preparation for 2023 and failed to face the fact and reality on ground to solve the circumstances that led to Oyo state progressives’ 8years government failure in the last general elections.
All these acts are very discouraging, very worrisome and very disastrous. And it is high time all Stakeholders and leaderships at all levels stood up to their responsibilities in restoring and repositioning our great party to serving the good people of the state.
What I am saying here is that Oyo state APC Stakeholders/ Leaderships need to stand together as a team player now, and not as an individual performer. The job is to ensure that others do theirs.
It operates through good example rather than by precept.
Good leaders are needed in APC Oyo Wards, Local government, and State for the betterment of our party and success in 2023 general elections.
