Comrade Mustapha Mufeed, an elite and politically exposed youth in Okeho, Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State has justified how politics of bitterness and acrimony are factors responsible for retardation of Kajola Local Government among others in the state and Nigeria as a whole.
Mufeed expatiated this on his Facebook page, while he x-rayed the substantial factors that are contributing to the failure and inability of Kajola Local Government to meet up with the counterparts.
Mufeed in his write up goes thus:

Let me describe the style of our politics in Kajola as SLAVE IN ? SUIT….
It is no more gainsaying that We live in a world in which politics has replaced philosophy.. Power is a basic concept in study of politics. Those who have power can play
significant role in state operations and can tilt the situation in favour of them like( Iseyin, Itesiwaju) when there is time 
Talking about the development of a community or a nation it has do with political involvement but now Kajola has been marginalized, what next?
Historically, Kajola has been playing her politics of slavery during the political reign of SDP And NRC because the local government has not tasted the sweateness of her labour in politics…
The LGA shares federal constituency with neighbouring Iseyin, Iwajowa and Itesiwaju . The immediate past Reps member is Abiodun Olasupo of Iseyin. His predecessor is KolaOlabiyi from Okaka in Itesiwaju. The immediate past senator from OyoNorth, Gbenga Babalola of Iseyin and his predecessor HoseaAyoola (Alleluyah) also hails from Igbojaye in Itesiwaju and the present Rep from iseyin Hon shina peller.
During the eleventh month of Governor AKALA, Kajola was an opportunist as Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources and all what we benefited during the reign was CELEBRATION OF (Daughters weeding).
And burial ceremony….
In 2007-2011 when gov Akala was accused of marginalizing Kajola, despite having the chairman OYSROMA, our road was nothing to write home about and then he pointed out finger on our leader that All what they know is “money” despite the free entry and free exist to government house and no any communal development issue was brought to him He said….
Time to reap the fruits of what our fore fathesr sow in politics during the Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s first term, DR Abdul Lateef Olopeniyan of the blessed memory and muyiwa gbadegesin was Appointed as commissioner and S. A To the governor, both from okeho And Alh Abu Adejare gbadamosi was Appointed as Tescom Director in the state from ilero…then Dr Abdul lateef was removed as the commissioner because he loves the community where he hails from and replaced by Muyiwa Gbadegesin and his impact was not felt as his predecessors did…
After gov Ajimobi achieved his second term ambition Muyiwa Gbadegesin was offered Deputy Chief of staff and later resigned without proper consultation from the people of his constituents and no body was picked as the vaccum was not replaced.. Are we cursed?
Even, Kajola as an opportunist then in 2011-2015 what was supposed to be fruit of all kajolites was marginalized owing to the power tussle of the two leading communities in the local government because of hatred and love for one communal….
2019, there are lots of tension in the town when the political game began. Hon john OLALERU, Hon Adelodun, Hon olaaje yemi yaqub, all were hustling and jostling for Rep ticket to represent Iseyin, kajola, iwajowa and Itesiwaju Federal constituency. But due to a lot of political conspiracy and mentality of our politics , “slave in suit”, they were unable to reach consensus to pick a candidate that will slug it out with the incumbent rep who came from iseyin.
After all the scenario of Apc, in the same 2019,Another jingle of a candidate fill the air tagged “IRE -AKARI” which happened to be the flag bearer of PDP through consensus. Thou, he lost to the incumbent with regard to some electoral technicalities.
in 2019,Governor Seyi makinde secured thousands of votes in kajola. yet! No single achievement. All eyes on Hon Alhaji Abayomi Oshine Oyedeji to be given juicy appointment or to be appointed as a commissioner to head a ministry in the state but the belly of all kajolites was upturned and was given board appointment as a full time commissioner in the local government civil service commission and till today he is the only one in seyi makinde government but not among state executive council to determine the fate of the state in executive meeting.
Up till today, Aside the prompt payment of civil servants salary, no road was tared in kajola, The Oyo state College of Health Science and Technology which it’s Annex was given to kajola by the previous Administration in disarray, no single borehole was dug, uncompleted street light is all what we are experiencing in kajola. Are we cursed?
