The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) political heads manning the Local Council Development Areas(LCDAs) in Oyo State have described Governor Seyi Makinde as a resourceful leader with naturally endowed leadership qualities and characteristics.
They lavished encomiums on Gov Makinde in their congratulatory message, issued shortly after the completion of PDP Convention held in Abuja, signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com.ng by the Vice Chairman, Iseyin LG and Political Head of Iseyin South LCDA, Hon. Fasasi Raheem FM.
The Political Heads hailed Makinde as the National Secretary of the just concluded convention, whose leadership acumen and style culminated in successful and fruitful completion of the exercise.
They stressed that the roles played by Oyo Governor was remarkable, as the convention remains the fruitful one, globally acceptable and had no traces of violence, crises nor sentiment from any quarter.
The political heads said that, apart from the patriotic struggles and efforts exhibited to ensure enthronement of Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja as the Deputy National Chairman, South, he equally expedited all actions, wisdom and knowledge to deliver successfully on his roles as the secretary to party national convention.
The appreciated his efforts which eventually birthed new sets of executive members at the national level of the party, stressing that he remains a resourceful and indefatigable leader who dares challenges and triumphs with productive results.
In another vein, they felicitated Arapaja on his emergence as the Deputy National Chairman for the South, charging him to fasten his belt and sit tight on subsequent attainment on feats, notable for the progress of PDP in the south and Nigeria as a whole.
They also congratulated other new executive members of the National Working Committee, enjoining them to work on restoration of unity and love to the party and largely increase the membership base of the party.
