The Court of Appeal siting in Port Harcourt has on Thursday 28th October strike out the embattled PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus Appeals to challenge his suspension as the Nation chairman of the people democratic party PDP, while also giving the go ahead for the conduction of PDP National Convention scheduled for 30-31 October, 2021.
This coming three days after the Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt dismissed an application challenging the suspension of Uche Secondus from the PDP.
The PDP had fixed October 30 and 31 for a special convention to elect new national officers in Abuja, as a means to resolve the internal crisis that had rocked the Secondus led National Working Committee of the party.
But Secondus who was not pleased with the decision filled an application as part of the processes in the ongoing litigation over his suspension from the party, to stop the party from holding the convention.
The convention is now expected to hold on the scheduled date.
