While addressing journalists at the Command Headquarters in Ibadan, Comptroller Adamu Abdukadir stated that the handing over was a directive of the Comptroller General of Customs and it is in line with the improved synergy between both Security Agencies.

He however, used the opportunity to sound a warning Alarm to Economic Saboteurs of the country that the officers of the Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service would not relent in its drive to eliminate smuggling within the state in consonance with relevant laws guiding the Service.

Taking over the 33,000litres truck tanker and the 2 suspects, the representative of Commandant NSCDC Oyo State Command, Head of Anti-Vandal DCC Oladiji Subair, appreciated the Command and Service in general for the robust synergy.
