The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Aspirant into Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Ajumobi has commended the peaceful conduct of party’s ward congresses across the 351 wards in the state.
Ajumobi hailed the outcome of the congresses in a statement he personally signed and made available to naijatodaynews.com.ng
According to him,” I had nursed phobia before we had the scheduled Ward Congress based on obvious internal wranglings transpiring in the party”.
“But I’m excited to see at the end of the congress that no violence nor casualty was recorded”.
“To all PDP members in Oyo State who have assembled at their various INEC designated Ward venues for Ward Congress”.
“It is acknowledged that we were all orderly, peaceful & law abiding to elect the Ward Executives”.
“It is not a gainsaying, ours is a true progressive minded party with people’s interest and welfare as the focal points, we must continue to demonstrate love, peace and unity in all our dealings”.
“The Leader of our great party, Governor Seyi Makinde, is here to serve and our support and loyalty will encourage him to do more for the Oyo State citizens and the party”.
“May the blessings of God be upon all PDP members and all lovers of good governance, it is well with you all”.
“Oyo State as a pacesetter should continue to show its uniqueness in all ramifications and we must do all it requires to demonstrate such”, Ajumobi enjoined.
