In preparation for the ward and local congresses of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) which have been scheduled to hold across the 351 wards and 33 local governments in Oyo State.
Unending crisis ravaging the conservative party in the pacesetter state has culminated in preparation for factional ward and local congresses which have been designed to hold on Saturday September 25 and October 2 respectively.
In its preparation, Unity Forum of the party in Kajola Local Government, Area of Oyo State has inaugurated its 5-Man factional congress committee for local and 3-Man each for eleven(11) wards in the local council.
Names of 5-Man Local Congress Committee are itemised as Hon. Yahya Adegbaye Salau(Chairman), Hon. Wasiu Hammed Adeosi(Secretary), Hon. Ajadi Waheed, Mr Michael Ojeyinka and Mrs Rachael Sangoleke respectively.
While the names of 3-Man Committee each for Ward Congress goes thus:

Naijatodaynews.com learnt that the committees were said to have been inaugurated on Tuesday, September 21 in accordance with the dissolution of State, Local and Ward Executive members of the party.
The news medium had it from the source that ,”having completed their 4 years’ tenure and the directive from our party secretariat at No 46, Oyebamiji Street, Winners Way, Bashorun Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, PDP in Kajola LG. Chapter, hereby inaugurated a 5-Man committee for the conduct of a successful ward and local congresses”.
The committees were said to have been enjoined to conduct free and fair congresses that devoid of manipulations and violence.
In another vein, The Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Alh.(Hon) Salimonu Afolabi Borikansunwon has on Wednesday, September 22 inaugurated PDP government owned committee for same ward and local congresses.
The committee that is loyal Governor Seyi Makinde and Senator Hosea Ayoola Alleluyah was said to have been headed by former member of the House of Representatives for Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, Hon.Abass Olopoeniyan with terms of reference which are premised on conduct of transparent and hitch free congresses.
