The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin and house directors have been compelled to appear before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) on issue centering on #1bn allegedly misappropriated on procurement of refurbished cars for the Lawmakers.
Source who confided in naijatodaynews.com disclosed that the speaker and directors were said to have on Thursday, September 23 headed to the office of EFCC in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Apart from Speaker, other house directors who are allegedly involved in monetary scandal are Directors of Finance, DASS, Clerk, Former Clerk and Deputy Clerk respectively.
This news medium, as at the time of filing this report has not ascertained the purpose through which the speaker and concerned directors were reinvited by Ibadan branch of EFCC.
It would be recalled that the antigraft agency had earlier frozen Oyo Assembly Account so as to continue with its investigations.
