Tunde Molumo, an indigene of Ilero, Iwa Local Council Development Area(LCDA), Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State has declared his interest in Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Chairmanship race for the Local Government.
Molumo shows his interest in a statement he personally signed and made available to news men.
According to him, “I, Tunde Molumo, an indigene of Ileroland wish to contest in the next local congress of PDP as the chairman of the umbrella party in Kajola Local Government”.
” My interest is consequent upon my readiness and eagerness to take the party from where it is now to the greater and enviable height”.
“I believe the party is no doubt the ruling one in the council area and I have resolved to lead it to expand its membership base and win the subsequent elections”.
“It is on good note to state that my aspiration for the party chairmanship is not premised on do or die engagement but firm operation in line with principles of modern democracy”.
” I reiterate that I shall do all within my capacity to maintain the current statusquo of normality and calmness in the party, so help me God”, Omolumo concluded.
