The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Aspirant into Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Ajumobi has showered encomiums on Governor Seyi Makinde on new feat attained on successful completion of Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan, the capital of the state.
Ajumobi who intends to represent Kajola State Constituency come 2023, in a statement he personally signed and made available to the news men, lauded Makinde for his leadership drive that culminated in fruitful completion of one of the best stadia in Nigeria, Africa and world at large.
Ajumobi, Assembly Hopeful stressed that Makinde deserves appreciation over Adamasingba Stadium that is being commissioned today, Wednesday, September 1st, adding that its commissioning for use would offer countless opportunities to the state as a whole.
He reiterated that the completion of the stadium for use would develop the sporting activities in the state where all lovers of sports and most especially football game, would like to play ball and catch fun while all round sporting activities are in progress.
Ajumobi also stated that the new face of Adamasingba Stadium would definitely increase the Internal Generated Revenue(IGR) of the state, while the accrued funds will be productively used to fund many other developmental projects across the state.
Okeho born aspirant disclosed that the stadium will definitely serve as tourist centre where many across the state and beyond will be visiting to improve their sporting skills, engage in recreational activities and fun among other things.
Ajumobi noted that Makinde’s administrative charisma and doggedness had birthed many unprecedented projects across the nook and cranny of pacesetter state.
He said that the Governor remains man of the masses and that is why his programmes and policies are aimed at improving their means of sustenance and standards of living in general.
Ajumobi called on people, regardless of politics and sentiment to throw their weight behind Makinde in order to take the state to enviable heights.
